Here it is Finally

So here is my JA questionaire that I made for my interview of Scott. I will be writing a JD this week and will post that later. Today I will be leaving early to go to a job description writing seminar that will be put on by a consulting firm which is doing some work at UNCA.

All Over The Place

Today was a lot of a little of this and a little of that and then to top it off, I had to duck out of the office for about 45 minutes for advising and such. All in all, a lot of emails sent out, a lot of talking to people, I finally added the photos from my Biltmore excursion. I have preped my JA question into a web friendly format and they need to be uploaded to my personal server, but I have to do that at home. Andy sent out a "safe Halloween tips" and of course it was accompanied by a commodore picture

Mile Marker

Today I finally hit the 200th job description that I have entered so far, I estimate that this is slightly over half of the entries that I need to do. I not quite sure that I will be able to finish, but lets hope.

Day at Biltmore Estate

Today I went out to the Estate and was able to tour the house, which is obviously amazing, I then walked the gardens and took pictures, went to the winery, and finally the farm before heading out. All in all I was out there for 6.5 hrs and had a great time!

Staff Meeting Today

Today I didn't get too much done, after getting my desk back from some lady doing an insurance orientation, I didn't get much done before the staff meeting. The food was great tomato, mozzarella, spinach and vinaigrette sandwich :) the afternoon, I spent tackling IOBE job descriptions and responding to lots of emails.

Back from break

I had fall break last week and took time off to go to see my family back in Charlotte, but now I'm back. I have added some more jobs to the data base from in Inn on Biltmore Estate, Food and Beverage. Today I am also meeting with Scott to discuss the PI system and do a job analysis on his position.

Impending Doom!

So today I worked through the HR job descriptions, adding them to the database. At which time I click on the Inn on Biltmore Estate to discover 178 job descriptions! I think I'll work on those next week.....

Happy Bday Delores

Today was Delores' 40th bday and when I walked into the office, there was conffetti, streamers, balloons, and vulchers all over the place. I rescheduled an appointment with Dr. Schaffer for a later date, TBD. Other than that I got in about 35 job descriptions, showed Kathy what I've been doing these past few weeks and plan to talk with Scott about my Job Description project.
